Orion Nebula

A mildly sharp pic of Orion's Nebula from last night, still trying to get a grasp on astrophotography. I'm learning how to use DeepSkyTracker right now and when I do I will run this through again and clean it up.

Sunset Beach

Looking up at the sky at about 2pm today it looked like a great day to day to shoot some stars later, nice and clear. I've been researching astrophotography and want to try some. by the time 2:05 rolled around, a thick blanket of clouds descended upon me. So, I still had the photo bug so I figured I'd go down to cape may and do some long exposures of the clouds rolling above the bunker or the concrete ship. It was so windy I took about 300 shots and only ~15 came out even mildly sharp. So here are the suvivors: South Jersey Gallery

lens Review!
